The Frank Creech Art Gallery, in partnership with the Johnston County Arts Council and Johnston Community College will sponsor a new exhibit, “Remembering Frank,” beginning in September 2016.
The exhibit premieres Thursday evening, September 15 at the Frank Creech Art Gallery on the campus of Johnston Community College. The premiere will be from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. and will include refreshments and live music. The exhibit will feature a retrospective of work by the late Frank Creech. Included will be visual art and sculpture. The work is being donated by Mr. Creech’s family members and friends. The exhibit will be open to the public free of charge on Saturdays 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Sundays 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. through Sunday, October 9.
The Frank Creech Art Gallery will also host an exhibit of work by photographer Kyle Wilson this autumn. The Wilson exhibit will premiere with a reception from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 1. The exhibit will be open to the public, also free of charge, on Saturdays 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Sundays 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. through December 4.
