Representative Donna White of Clayton will return to the General Assembly for a second two-year term after her win Tuesday.
White, a Republican, represents District 26 in the NC House. She received 22,524 votes (59.9%) over Democratic challenger Linda Bennett with 15,110 votes (40.1%), in officials results.
