A repo driver was held at gunpoint while he attempted to repossess a car. The incident happened last Thursday in the parking lot of CVS on Highway 210 at McGee’s Crossroads outside of Benson. It is now under investigation.
WTSB News has learned the driver, who is from Benson, was attempting to repossess a car in the parking lot. He backed up his wrecker to the vehicle and placed the car on skids. That’s when a woman inside the car began screaming. A male then approached the repo driver and reportedly held him at gunpoint.
The female drove the car off the wrecker skids and left.
The repo driver was not physically injured.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2:45pm incident.
