Retiring Police Officer Awarded Badge, Gun

The Smithfield Town Council has awarded a 30 year police veteran with his service weapon and service badge.

Captain Bruce Gentry retired from the Smithfield Police Department on November 30th.  The town council adopted a resolution at their December meeting to award Gentry with his gun and badge in appreciation of his service to the Town of Smithfield.
