Rouzer Formally Endorses Donald Trump

Congressman-David-Rouzer-FIOn Wednesday, Congressman David Rouzer (R-NC) formally endorsed Presidential Nominee Donald J. Trump.

Rouzer said Trump would elect conservative judges to the US Supreme Court, repeal President Obama’s executive orders that have hurt the economy and small businesses, and would work with Congress to repeal and replace Obamacare.  Rouzer said Hillary Clinton would not.

“There are two choices in this presidential election: Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.  Wipe away all the clutter and this election comes down to three key points that will determine whether the American dream survives,” Rouzer said in a press release.

“We know for a fact that Hillary Clinton will nominate liberal judges to the US Supreme Court threatening our first amendment and second amendment rights and other freedoms for generations to come.  Donald Trump will nominate judges to the court that will adhere to the U.S. Constitution.  We know for a fact that Hillary Clinton will not repeal the rules, regulations and executive orders of the Obama Administration, which are absolutely devastating small businesses, jobs and our economy.  Donald Trump will.  We know for a fact that Obamacare, a disastrous law that is destroying healthcare and making insurance that much more expensive, is here to stay with a Hillary Clinton presidency.  Donald Trump will work with Congress to repeal and replace Obamacare.”

“I also want to commend Mr. Trump for making time to visit with the House Republican Conference this past week.  He reaffirmed his commitment to make America great again by getting the federal government out of the way and putting the American people first — especially our veterans.  Donald Trump understands that America cannot be strong abroad if we are not strong and prosperous here at home. For all of these reasons, I endorse Donald Trump for president and will work to help him win this very critical election.”

Rouzer, a McGee’s Crossroads resident, is serving his first term in the US House representing the Seventh Congressional District which includes Johnston County.

Rouzer serves on the House Agriculture Committee where he is Chairman of the Subcommittee on Livestock and Foreign Agriculture, and the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee
