Motorcyclists participating in Run for the Wall, a ride to Washington DC for Memorial Day, passed through Johnston County around 10:30 Thursday morning.
Fire and EMS units from across Johnston County showed their support for fallen veterans and the riders as they saluted with both hands and equipment.
The emergency crews were staged on every bridge over Interstate 95 in Johnston County to salute the hundreds of motorcyclists as they passed through the area.

There were a number of Johnston County veterans who saluted the riders from the bridges as well.
