SBI Arrests Newton Grove Police Chief
NEWTON GROVE — The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation has arrested Newton Grove Police Chief Greg Warren following an investigation requested by the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the SBI, the sheriff’s office asked for assistance after receiving allegations involving Warren. The SBI subsequently initiated an investigation that led to his arrest.
Warren is charged with a total of seven felony offenses, including one count of indecent liberties with a minor and six counts of felony secret peeping.
The investigation remains ongoing. No additional information was released.

Law Enforcement has no use for people who use children for illegal means. (I arrested several). However I will support “INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY!” MERELY BEING CHARGED DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEAN GUILTY! I HOPE THAT SOCIETY WILL NOT ALWAYS BELIEVE THAT CHARGES AUTOMATICALLY EQUATE TO CONVICTION! EX. “DUKE LACROSS!” I dealt with some when I worked at Johnston Correctional Center who after 21 years in Prison were set free. I will side with the presumption of innocence until the case has been adjudicated!

I never argued or discussed that point. I will stand on my discussion that I NEVER HOPE AMERICA AUTOMATICALLY FINDS A MAN/WOMAN GUILTY JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN CHARGED! OR ACCUSED BY THE GOVERNMENT OR ANOTHER CITIZEN! IF THAT IS THE CASE JUST AUTOMATICALLY GO TO SENTENCING! NO NEED FOR A TRIAL!

The judge would have set a Bond.
Not necessarily so! It would probably be a magistrate who might require a bond. After that a First Appearance (usually)). The judge could Change, Erase or drop the bond or keep it the same. There could be a R.O.R or unsecured Bond!
We must wait until every thing has been investigated, there is always two sides of the story. We are so quick to judge people by the charges, later learn they were innocent.
Guilty or innocent God still forgive, sometimes most people forget about.

He has not been terminated because of nepotism. Research his family and look at the board. He has already confessed to several charges.
