State and federal investigators executed a search warrant at a Clayton home on Tuesday.
US Homeland Security and the NC SBI Computer Crimes Unit searched a home at 204 Sierra Ridge Drive arresting 58 year-old Michael Lewandowski on multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
In an email, a spokesperson for the SBI told WTSB News, “Through undercover activities, the address was identified as a distribution point for files containing child pornography being shared on the internet. During the search, numerous files containing child pornography were located on a computer in the residence.”
Lewandowski was confined in the Johnston County Jail under a $300,000 bond.
