Late-Friday, the Johnston County Board of Education announced they will hold a Special Session Meeting to consult with an attorney.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 5th at 4:00pm at the Central Office on Highway 70 Business East in Smithfield.
“After the meeting is called to order, the Board will enter closed session to discuss confidential personnel information and to receive privileged advice from an attorney retained by the Board.”
No additional details were disclosed in the notice made by Interim Superintendent Dr. Ben Williams.
The Feb. 5th special called closed session is in advance of their regularly scheduled Feb. 11th public meeting.
