The Johnston County Board of Education has approved proposals for Worker’s Compensation and Vehicle Insurance for the 2017-18 school term.
Employers Mutual Casualty (EMC) was selected for the second year to provide worker’s compensation coverage. The cost next year is $593,645 a slight decrease in the premium from the current year.
The board agreed to spend $88,898 for vehicle insurance with EMC. It also reflects a slight decrease in rates from 2016-17.
