The Johnston County School Board approved several personnel changes at their August monthly meeting in Smithfield.
Four assistant principals were awarded two year contracts through June 30, 2019. They include:
Patsy W. Elrod – Polenta Elementary
Jessi Gurley – Princeton Elementary
Matthew Johnson – Archer Lodge Middle
Dee S. Owens – Pine Level Elementary
Three Central Administrators were given two year contracts through 2019:
Jacquelyn Faith Jackson – Homebound and 504 Coordinator
Mary Hunter Olive Waller – CTE Instructional Management Coordinator
Ashley D. Radford – Director of Exceptional Children Programs
Two assistant principals were also transferred by the school board. Timberly Harrington the Assistant Principal at Archer Lodge Middle has been transferred to an Assistant Principals position at Cleveland High. Steve Strickland an Assistant Principal at Princeton Elementary was named the Assistant Principal at Princeton School.
