School Board Approves Personnel Changes

The Johnston County School Board approved several contracts and changes for school personnel at their monthly meeting held on Tuesday.

Two year contracts were awarded for the following assistant principals:
Emily Batchelder – East Clayton Elementary School
Chenetra Mangum – West Johnston High School
Deborah McDuffie – West View Elementary School
Katherine Schott – Meadow Elementary School
Robert Simpkins – Smithfield-Selma High School

A one year contract was awarded to Lauren Watkins an assistant principal at Corinth Holders High School.

Jenna McKeel was awarded a contract as Director of School Improvement (CIA) and Katherine Price – Executive Director for Professional Learning (ISD).

A transfer was approved for Brian Strickland from Director of Professional Learning to Director of General Services at Facility Services.
