Smithfield Police are searching for a suspect wanted for questioning following an incident inside Wal-Mart on N. Brightleaf Boulevard earlier this week.
Around 12:30pm Monday, a 37 year-old woman said she inside the store looking at a product on the shelf when she heard the sound of a shutter snap. She turned around and saw a man on his knee with his cell phone camera pointed in her direction. The woman confronted the male about him possibly taking a photo up her skirt but he immediately left the store before he could be identified or before police could respond.
Smithfield Police obtained a surveillance image of the suspect they hope the public will recognize so they can question the individual about the incident.
