Search Warrant: Drugs And Gun Seized From Convicted Felon, JCSO Says

SMITHFIELD – A convicted felon was arrested by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office during a search warrant in the Smithfield city limits. Immanuel Delaney Prince Jr., 38, of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive was arrested August 16 after local authorities executed a search warrant at his home.

During the search, approximately 23.6 grams of powder cocaine, 1.7 grams of crack cocaine, 19 doses of Ecstasy, 3.9 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, 1.5 pounds of marijuana, and a 9mm handgun was located and seized.

Prince is facing numerous charges including possession of a controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, and possession of a firearm by a felon.

He was given a $150,000 secured bond at the Johnston County Detention Center.

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office STAR team, SAFE team, and narcotics division, with the assistance of the Smithfield Police Department, assisted with the search warrant.

  1. yall went through all that searching and found what yall did…. still gave him a bond & he is out in the streets like nothing???? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!!! why are yall not keeping these thugs locked up???

  2. But we aren’t stressing the dozens of pedos & rapists that are multiple times reoffending….i mean…continuing to wreck our future adults. Maybe, if we eliminate the trauma starting at a young age then those “thugs” would need another job choice. Majority of users are self medicating from issues that potentially could have been prevented or addressed before being arrested and labeled for life as an addict. In the long run its actually common sense for those who dont have compassion….stop the demand and there’s no need for the supply. Thats for every industry.
