Search Warrant Reveals New Details In Teen Murder-Suicide

A 15 page search warrant just made public has revealed some new details in the murder-suicide of two 14 year-olds at a home at 206 Clayton Road, Angier in western Johnston County on Monday.

Johnston County deputies responded to a 911 call and found a male and female victim dead from gunshot wounds.

According to a copy of the search warrant, responding deputies found the female victim lying on her back on a couch in the living room dead from an apparent gunshot wound. A discharged shell casing was found to the left of the female victim.  The male was found deceased on the living room floor to the left of the female.  Several unspent cartridges were lying on the floor next to the male.

Investigators seized several items from the home including a rifle, fired and unfired cartridges, cell phones, a book bag, miscellaneous papers, a piece of drywall, and a green leafy substance and paraphernalia.

Authorities have not released the names of the two victims but the family of the female victim has identified her as Sara Elaine Hill.  WRAL has reported the male victim was a freshman at West Johnston High School.

Sara was a home school student at North Carolina Virtual Academy. Funeral services for Sara Hill will be held Sunday at 2:00pm at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.  Photos by John Payne
