One week after a 13 year-old student at Riverwood Middle School was charged with possessing marijuana after allegedly arriving at school under the influence of marijuana, another 13 year-old at another school is facing similar charges.
On Friday, an assistant principal at Archer Lodge Middle School contacted school resource officers after a tip led them a 13 year-old who reportedly had marijuana concealed inside a deodorant container.
Officials did not say how much marijuana was inside the container only that it was a small amount. The Archer Lodge Middle student will face a misdemeanor drug possession charge in juvenile court.
The incidents were not related.
