For the second time in three months shots have been fired into the same Johnston County home.
Last Wednesday night, someone fired multiple rounds into a home at 2011 Whitley Road outside of Middlesex near the Johnston-Nash County line.
No one was at home at the time the home was hit by the gunfire.
The same home was struck several times by bullets on September 16th. In October, a Johnston County Grand Jury returned a True Bill of Indictment against 32 year-old Keith Kareem Parks of Chapel Hill for discharging a weapon into occupied property, felony conspiracy and for possession of a firearm by a felon. A motive for the September shooting was not disclosed but investigators said it was an intentional act.
Two people were in the home in September and narrowly avoided being hit.
