Second Person Indicted For 2015 Nightclub Shooting

James Thomas RhodesA second person has been indicted on attempted murder charges following the shootings of several people at a Four Oaks nightclub last year.

This month, a Grand Jury returned a True Bill of Indictment against James Thomas Rhodes, 28, of Hurricane Lane, Clinton on four counts of attempted first-degree murder, and one count each of discharging a weapon into occupied property causing serious bodily injury and discharging a weapon into occupied property.

In February, Andrew Ellis, 29, of Saturn Drive, Dunn was indicated on the same charges.

Shooting Stricklands Crossroads 6-23-16The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office says the two men are responsible for the shootings of 5 people at a nightclub in the 2300 block of Strickland’s Crossroads Road, off US701 South, on October 25, 2015. Two of the 5 people shot were critically wounded but did survive.
