Second Person Indicted For 2015 Nightclub Shooting

James Thomas RhodesA second person has been indicted on attempted murder charges following the shootings of several people at a Four Oaks nightclub last year.

This month, a Grand Jury returned a True Bill of Indictment against James Thomas Rhodes, 28, of Hurricane Lane, Clinton on four counts of attempted first-degree murder, and one count each of discharging a weapon into occupied property causing serious bodily injury and discharging a weapon into occupied property.

In February, Andrew Ellis, 29, of Saturn Drive, Dunn was indicated on the same charges.

Officials have never released a motive but indicated the shootings were likely gang related.   Detectives said the investigation into the shooting is still ongoing. 2015 scene photo by
