A group of about 70 people consisting of students, parents, staff, and administration gathered early this morning (Wednesday) around the flagpole at Polenta Elementary School to observe See You At The Pole (SYATP). There was a time of prayers being uttered for everyone at the school which included prayers of safety, boldness, and thankfulness. Students prayed aloud followed by parents and others.
See You at the Pole is an annual gathering of thousands of Christian students at school flag poles, churches, and other locations for the purposes of worship and prayer. It is now an international event.
