Southbound lanes of Interstate 95 between Four Oaks and Benson were brought to a standstill Thursday afternoon after a truck pulling a trailer filled with watermelons overturned.
Troopers said a tire below out on the truck, causing the driver to lose control and overturn. Luckily the driver was not injured.
However, hundreds of watermelons were spilled. There was also serious damage to a guardrail.
