A search is underway from North Carolina to Mexico for a wanted man.
On Friday, authorities said they received a report a 37 year-old man took indecent liberties with his juvenile stepdaughter.
The incident occurred on July 16th. The victim was taken to a local hospital for medical care. However law enforcement authorities didn’t learn about the incident until yesterday.
The Nash County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect, Dante Morales Balderas, from Old Bailey Highway, Nashville has likely fled from the area and may already be in Mexico.
Warrants have been obtained for his arrest charging him with incest, taking indecent liberties with a minor and statutory rape.
Balderas is believed to be operating a 2005 Chevy Colorado Z71 pickup with NC license plate CDF-2436.
