Shipment Of John Deere Mowers Disappear

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the disappearance John Deere mowers valued at $61,370.06.

On March 6th, a truck driver picked up a shipment of 10 zero turn mowers and one compact tractor from a warehouse on Woodall Dairy Road near Benson.  The mowers were destined for dealerships in Nebraska and South Dakota.  Normally the shipment takes two to four days to arrive.  On March 18th, the third-party shipping company reported to authorities the shipment never arrived and they have not been able to contact the driver.

Authorities are now working to locate the driver and the shipment.
