Deputies are investigating an overnight shooting incident in a business parking lot.
Around 11:30 pm, sheriff’s deputies were called to the parking lot at the Dollar General at 10525 Cleveland Road, just off Highway 42 West.
According to the victims, three people were in a Chevy SUV in the parking lot waiting to meet a friend. Two people pulled up in a Ford SUV and during a confrontation a handgun was produced and the rear window was shot out of the victim’s vehicle. The two suspects fled immediately after the shot was fired.
The victims, ranging in age from 19 to 21, were not injured.
