The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting. It happened in the 3000 block of Shoeheel Road outside of Kenly Wednesday morning.
Authorities have not released the names of those involved but are reportedly treating the shooting as a possible domestic related incident.
The male victim was shot in the face and transported to Wake Medical Center for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.
