A man who was shot Sunday died Monday in the hospital.
Authorities were dispatched to a report of shots being fired around 4:00 o’clock Sunday morning at 5151 NC Highway 217 near Erwin.
Before Harnett County deputies arrived on the scene they learned the victim, 32 year-old Tevin Walker of Lillington, was being rushed to Betsy Johnson Hospital by a private vehicle. After arriving at the hospital Walker was transferred to Wake Medical Center.
Deputies said Walker died at 3:41am Monday at Wake Medical Center.
Investigators have not released any additional details about the shooting including a motive or any possible suspects.
