Shots Fired At Clayton Area Home

CLAYTON – No injuries were reported after someone allegedly opened fire on a Clayton-area home. The incident was reported Feb. 18th in the 1600 block of Vinson Road, near Windsor Green Drive.

A man and his wife were at home when someone reportedly fired 7 or 8 shots from a slow-moving vehicle towards their residence. Deputies recovered two shell casings from the roadway.

The home was not struck by the gunfire.

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
