SMITHFIELD – Police are investigating a shooting on Finney Drive. The incident was reported around 9:42pm Saturday, January 4.
A 27 year-old woman and her 5 year-old son were inside their apartment when several shots were fired through a bedroom window. Luckily no one was struck by the bullets.
Smithfield Police investigators are following up on several leads.
Damage to the apartment was placed at $1,000.
