Authorities are investigating a shooting incident overnight near the Highway 50 / Highway 42 interchange. A 28 year-old Raleigh man was at his home off Page Road near the Johnston-Wake County line just before midnight when a car pulled up in front of his address. The victim said he was sitting on his front porch when someone in the car began firing towards his home.
The victim nor his home were struck. The car then sped away. Authorities said the vehicle was a dark colored passenger car.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
