SELMA – The Selma Police Department will kick off the 2025 Citizens Academy on April 15, 2025.
This is a great chance for Selma residence ages 13 years and up to gain knowledge on how officers do their jobs, what citizens should be aware of, how to respond in certain situations, and an opportunity to have great conversations with officers.
Classes will be held Tuesday’s from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, April 15 to May 20, 2025.

Eligible Age: 13 years old and up
What will take place? All participants will receive an up close hands on experience on how officers conduct their daily job duties. Selma police officers will speak on different topics including traffic, narcotics, and investigations.
