Twelve year-old, Madelyn Herring – Junior Miss North Carolina and her younger sister, 6 year-old, Saylor Claire Herring – Tiny Miss North Carolina spent the month of February collecting Easter bunnies and candy.
In March, Madelyn and Saylor-Claire designed over 150 Easter cards.
At Easter, Madelyn and Saylor-Claire visited the residents of Liberty Commons in Benson and treated them with a bunny, card, and candy.
Later, they joined their sister queen Carlie Brooke Wade, the Young Miss North Carolina, at Falcons Children’s Home in Falcon. They also gave everyone a bunny, card, and candy. They would like to thank everyone who contributed to their community service project.
Madelyn and Saylor-Claire are the children of Ericka and Corby Herring of Benson.
