The Smithfield Town Council unanimously approved the following board appointments at their September 2023 meeting:

• Tara Meyer – Planning Board In-Town Alternate Member
• Allison Boyd – Recreation Advisory Committee
• Whitley Kate Moore – Recreation Advisory Committee (High School Representative)
• John Arthur Gaskins – Recreation Advisory Committee (High School Representative)
