An estimated $3,450 in property was stolen from a North Smithfield business during a break-in discovered on March 7th. Smithfield Police said the break-in occurred at Master Builders & Realty Company at 1270-B N. Brightleaf Boulevard.
Sometime between 5:00pm March 6th and 2:23pm on March 7th, someone broke into the business and stole several Ducks Unlimited prints, a shotgun, ammunition, and three rod and reels.
On February 15th, police discovered a break-in at an adjacent business, Bill Lynch Salon at 1270 N. Brightleaf Boulevard. Someone had broken a window to gain entry. Once inside 5 Nabs and a small amount of cash was taken.
Investigators are working to see if the break-ins have any connection. No arrests have been made.
