Another Johnston County business was robbed Thursday night. Around 9:00pm, the owner of The Little Taco, located at 4321 US Highway 70 East at the intersection of Country Store Road, was closing up for the night. As he stepped outside his business he was approached by a lone black male who held him at gunpoint. The suspect took the 41 year-old victims money, wallet and other personal documents before fleeing into the night.
Johnston County Sheriff’s Detective Lt. Don Pate said a K-9 was brought to the scene and tracked the suspect to a nearby vacant lot where a getaway car was likely parked. Pate said the business owner was not injured.
