The Smithfield driver license office, located at 3783 U.S. Highway 301 South, next to Holt’s Lake will be temporarily closed for equipment installation and renovations on Wednesday, Oct. 21. It is scheduled to reopen on Thursday, Oct. 22, at 8 a.m.
