The Town of Smithfield’s Litter Sweep, postponed last month due to the weather, will be held this Saturday, May 18th beginning at 7am at the following locations:
- Smithfield Community Park, 600 E. Booker Dairy Road
- Bob Wallace Jaycee Kiddie Park, 350 S. Front Street
- Smith-Collins Park, 909 E. Lee Street
- Gertrude B. Johnson Park, 1222 W. Market Street
Litter Sweep provides an opportunity for civic groups, businesses, schools, churches, professional organizations, families and others to volunteer in keeping Smithfield clean and beautiful. All necessary cleanup supplies will be provided on the day of the event.
