Numerous churches throughout Johnston, Harnett and Sampson counties will unite together on Saturday, August 29th to present the First Annual Whosoever Will Crusade at the Johnston County Livestock Arena, located at 520 County Home Road in Smithfield.
The day will be filled with Gospel music, as well as anointed preaching, great food and an opportunity for wonderful Christian fellowship.
According to event organizers, this one day Crusade is an event that has been in the making for quite some time. “We have been praying and planning for many months in preparation for this special day, greatly anticipating what we believe God is going to do,” states Wayne Warren, one of the Crusade organizers.
“There are a lot of hurting people in our community, and there is a great need. Many people don’t even realize how great their need is. Our goal for this Crusade is to meet the needs of those hurting people by introducing them to the greatest Friend they could ever have. His name is Jesus. We are encouraging our fellow Christians, those who truly believe in the power of Jesus, to invite and bring their friends and family members who have never met this Jesus and allow them to be introduced to the Savior of this world!”
Evangelist David Pait, founder of RealWord Outdoors will be one of the guest speakers at the event. “We are praying and greatly anticipating what God is going to do through this special one-day crusade,” Pait shares. “The main goal is to reach the lost – those who desperately need Jesus.”
In addition to Pait, Dr Dennis Gregory and Dr Bill Jenkins will be guest speakers. “These are three anointed men, who God will use to share the truths from His word. These men will clearly explain what the Bible says about the realities of heaven and hell. These are truths that our community greatly needs to hear.”
Special music throughout the day will be provided by such popular groups as the Hickory Grove Quartet and Mercy’s Cross. “We are thrilled to have the Hickory Grove Quartet and Mercy’s Cross to be a part of this special day,” Warren shares. “These two wonderful groups will be sharing God’s Word in song, and we will also have some other special musical guests that we know will bless all those who will be attending.”
The Crusade activities will begin at 10am and will continue until 6pm. Complete information may be obtained by calling 252-341-2588 or 910-759-0365.
