Smithfield Town Council Approves Board Appointments

SMITHFIELD — The Smithfield Town Council approved two board appointments during its Jan. 20 meeting.

Jane Shipman was reappointed to a third term on the Library Board of Trustees, continuing her service in overseeing library programs and operations.

Andrew Tamer was appointed to a first term on the Recreation Advisory Committee, which advises the town on parks, recreation programs, and community events.
