CLAYTON – UpKeep has named Clayton Town Manager JD Solomon as one of “100 People in Maintenance That You Should Follow.”
UpKeep is a global company founded in 2015. It is dedicated to making maintenance software easier to use and adopt.
According to UpKeep, “Making sure society runs smoothly isn’t easy, which is why it’s no understatement to say that those involved in maintenance and reliability are a society of heroes. That said, some individuals stand out because of their contributions to the profession, whether that’s through books, conferences, online leadership contributions, or other methods. Their contributions help reliability professionals all over the world improve both their craft and the facilities where they work, and they deserve recognition.
“Over the past month, we’ve highlighted many individuals in the maintenance and reliability field. These individuals were chosen based on a combination of maintenance community input, and the kinds of contributions they’ve made to the improvement of professionals.”
Solomon has written more than two dozen papers and developed several methodologies over the past decade. SOAP, or the Solomon-Oldach Asset Prioritization, continues to gain in use and popularity in multiple industry sectors.
Solomon regularly provides half-day and full-day workshops on communicating technical information to decision makers. He is the author of the book “Communicating Reliability, Risk, and Resiliency to Decision Makers: Getting Your Boss’s Boss to Understand.”
“Upkeep’s list includes the top 100 maintenance and reliability practitioners from around the globe. I appreciate being recognized for my practical approaches and sharing my experiences with the profession.” Solomon said.
