South Johnston Art Teacher Named Teacher Of The Month

The Four Oaks Chamber of Commerce has selected South Johnston High School art teacher Emily Crews as their Teacher of the Month for May.

Four Oaks area teachers are a vital part of developing and leading our future workforce and future community leaders. The Four Oaks Chamber of Commerce recognizes teachers who motivate and inspire their students through their teaching practices and their commitment to the community.

South Johnston High School leadership shared as part of the nomination process, “Mrs. Crews motivates and inspires her students by believing in them.  She allows them to share the vision of what art looks like to them by listening and letting them create their art. “
