Charli Rosenberg, a Senior at South Johnston, was awarded the Penn Station Athlete of the Season. The award is based on Athletics, Academics, Extra-curricular activities, and Community Service.
This Spring, one of the season finalists will receive the Athlete of the Year Award. Charli was presented a plaque as was South Johnston for their trophy case.
Charli is a South Johnston Varsity Cheerleader, a member of the Varsity Soccer team and the reigning Miss Benson. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Miracle League of Johnston County, member of the National Honor Society, is a Trojan Ambassador, and is the Vice-President of the Senior Class.
Charli has been accepted to Campbell University and NCSU. She plans to attend one of these universities to major in Biology/Pre-Med and pursue a degree in Pediatrics or Pediatric Oncology.
Charli is the daughter of Marvin and Deborah Rosenberg of Benson
