Residents in one community are having to clean up their property after vandals caused extensive damage over-the-weekend. Using florescent orange spray paint, the vandals damaged a home, several cars and a fence on Deer Track Drive in the Deer Track subdivision off Wendell Road in northern Johnston County.
All the vandalism occurred between Friday night and Saturday morning.
The suspect or suspects spray painted “F**k you” on the side of one home. Five cars were also sprayed with orange paint. One car was painted with the words “F**k U 999”. A windshield was also damaged on another vehicle.
Deputies did seize some evidence at the scene. Damage was estimated at $6,200.
