A Smithfield Selma High student was arrest Friday on the school campus following an alleged affray that injured a 15 year-old.
Demario Akele Moore, 17, of Cloverdale Drive, Clayton was charged with simple affray, a misdemeanor, by a school resource officer after Moore allegedly struck the other student.
Moore was transported to the Johnston County Courthouse where he appeared before a magistrate before being released on a $300 bond.
