By Eli Spottswood

SMITHFIELD — On Saturday, November 2nd, FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) Team 6004 f(x) Robotics will be hosting their STEAM Scream. While Halloween may be over by then, the spooks don’t have to be.

After the major success of their FIRST Family Fun-Day, f(x) Robotics and the newly formed NC Robotics Initiative are back with more fun for the whole family. The event will have many scary STEAM activities for kids of all ages, as well as world-class robotics teams in attendance.

The team will also be having a catapult contest to see who can launch a pumpkin the furthest.

The STEAM Scream is free for all attendees and will be from 10 am to 2 pm on 67 Jr Rd Suite 400, Selma, NC, next to the Old North State Food Hall.
