Johnston County deputies responded to the family home in the 1400 block of Landmark Road around 9:00pm, according to Tammy Amaon, Public Information Officer, with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.

Twenty year-old Derek Tyrone Robinson allegedly produced a knife then cut his stepfather in the hand. Robinson is also accused of damaging a chicken coop belonging to the victim in retaliation.
The victim was treated at the scene by EMS workers.
