Stolen Property Found In Wooded Area

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office recovered suspected stolen property in a wooded area Monday.

Authorities said the items were found on Almon Road off Harper House Road in the Bentonville community.  Deputies seized two flatbed trailers and a pig cooker with an estimated combined value of $9,000.  The items appeared to have been in the woods for several months. The property was seized until the owners can be identified.

Detectives are still investigating the incident.
