BENSON – Detectives are investigating numerous storage unit break-ins. The thefts were discovered March 20th at Wood’s Mini Storage, located at 1391 NC Highway 50 South of Benson.
An unknown suspect or suspects cut a hole in a fence at the rear of the lot to gain entry to the site. Locks were then cut to 11 storage units to get inside. Authorities are still working with the victims to determine what items were stolen from the units.
