Over the next two weeks, projects from hundreds of students across Wayne County Public Schools (WCPS) will be exhibited at Berkeley Mall in Goldsboro. The exhibits showcase the exceptional skills and abilities of students in the areas of visual arts and STEM.
“Our school district appreciates Berkeley Mall for hosting these outstanding displays of student work,” states Dr. Michael Dunsmore, WCPS superintendent. “The annual exhibits reflect the engaging lessons being taught in each of our schools. We would welcome the community to come out and see firsthand the high quality work that our students produce in the classroom.”
Local art teachers turned the center corridor of Berkeley Mall into an art gallery. The annual WCPS Art Exhibition displays hundreds of exhibits, submitted by students in grades kindergarten through 12th, in a multitude of art forms.
Following the WCPS Art Exhibition, hundreds of exhibits made up of special work and student projects will highlight WCPS science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education. The exhibit will be held March 9th–14th, 2020.
