Micro-Pine Level Elementary students celebrated the end of the 2015-2016 school year with the school’s annual “Fun Day.”

“It was a great day for our students to get some extra exercise and relax after two very busy weeks of end of the year assessments,” said Principal Allen Sasser. “Everyone had a great time.”

Each grade level participated in several different events including the egg and spoon race, duck hunt, sponge toss, sack race, bowling, long jump, and basketball. Students were even able to enjoy a cool treat from Pelican’s Snowballs.

“My favorite game was the duck hunt,” said first grade student Abigail Black. “You used a water gun and sprayed the duck on the post until he fell off.”

Wednesday was the last day of classes for the students.
