FOUR OAKS – The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in a sexual assault investigation. The alleged assault occurred in the Four Oaks area while the suspect Dante Denbow was living in Johnston County. Denbow most recently had been living at an 
address on Skeet Range Road near Coats in Harnett County.
Denbow is accused of sexually abusing a 6 year-old female.
The incident was first reported to sheriff’s investigators on July 15th. Following an investigation, the 41 year-old suspect was located on August 6th and served with warrants charging him with first degree sex offense with a child and taking indecent liberties with a child.
Denbow was confined in the Johnston County Jail on a $300,000 secure bond.
