Suspect Broke Into Home Of Deceased Man, JCSO Says

A 30 year-old man has been charged with breaking into a Johnston County home earlier this year. Michael Lyn Chambers of Rural View Road, Gibsonville, NC was charged May 22 with felonious breaking and entering, larceny, larceny of a firearm, and conspiracy to commit a break-in.

On February 24, relatives discovered a break-in at the home of a deceased family member on Nicklaus Drive, Garner, off NC 42 West near the Wake County line. The deceased man’s revolver and jewelry were missing. The items were valued at $900. There were signs of forcibly entry into the home.

Chambers was given a $100,000 secured bond at the Johnston County Jail.
